A Rat Bastard In N'Awlins
All right, there's a story behind this pic, and none of the snotty commentary goes with it. Cory was in the "Mississippi River" room, where there were owls, eagles, and a couple of bluebird. Cory saw one of them on the ground, and leaned over to try and get a good picture of it, when it flew stright for his face, as if he were Tippi Hedren. It first went for his face, then for his hair. Now, normally, he would have batted the damn little thing out of the air, but all over the Aquarium were signs that said "Do not touch the animals under penalty of law." So, instead of knocking the little feathered bastard to the glass ceiling, he kept trying to get away from the damn thing until it perched on this sign, puffed up and started skwaking at him like a Republican when Al Gore is mentioned without the honorarium "That Bastard Who Tried To Subvery Democracy and Puppet of Lord High Evil One Bill Clinton." Here it is sitting and looking innocent, but Cory swears that when he looked into its eyes, he saw the soul of Cthulu looking back at him.
