Pander this, buddy

Now, some people are saying that Bush's plan to put troops on the border with Mexico is just political pandering. These people are not seeing the whole picture:

Sure, it's political pandering, but think about it. Bush can dress up every time he goes on vacation to play solider and look important (shine up the old codpiece). None of the soliders will get killed by insurgents, and in late November, he can declare Mission Accomplished again.

Well...what do you expect? It's not like he can think of anything with Karl Rove packing for his trip to prison.
