For those of you who read comics, the DC Big Event is over and the Marvel Big Event has begun. My feeling son Infinite Crisis by DC are mixed...it was a big story for fanboys and worked in a lot of continuity stuff that fed my inner geek, but as a story on its own, it didn't make a lot of sense.

Marvel has decided to do one as well, but theres is more "nbew reader friendly" and seems to be aimed at getting mainstream press. I've even read reports in mainstream newspapers about people seeking out comic stores to buiy it, which I find really odd.

The good thing I have found lately that makes "Civil War" (the Marvel crossover) is a blog written from the perspective of someone in the Marvel Universe as it is goign on called Insta-CivilWar-Pundit. If you're a comic fan, give it a try. My only complaint about it so far is that for a story so politically motivated, the writer isn't making the kind of judgement on stories that bloggers do. But, we'll see how it goes.
